Golden Hour

One of the most interesting concepts in human productivity is the Golden Hour: The time of the day that your mind is at Peak Performance. You’re more creative, more productive, and more energetic.

The exact moment of the Golden Hour varies from individual to individual. Mine is between 8 and 10 in the morning.

You may recognize your own Golden Hour by the typical moments in the day that you naturally solve difficult problems or do creative thinking. Furthermore, co-workers use this time slot to come to you for advice because they subconsciously know you are at your best.

It pays off enormously to use the Golden Hour to do creative work and deep thinking. Therefore, don’t waste this precious time to do tedious activities, or attend boring meetings. Instead, plan your day in advance to take full advantage of these juicy high performance windows.
